How trading Whops should onboard members before the first live session

September 3, 2026

A first-session path: unlock, hours, workspace, risk, then the room — so the live session is not a setup call.

The first live session should not be a setup call. If half the room is asking which broker, what timezone, and whether they have access, you used the session as onboarding. Give them a path they can finish before you go live.

The path before they join the room

  • Pay — access unlocks (say this in writing)
  • Open Welcome to Our Trading Community
  • Read How to Use This Help Center
  • Finish Joining Channels & Roles
  • Check Market Hours & Session Calendar
  • Run Workspace Setup Checklist and Broker & Data Connections
  • Read Risk Management Basics
  • Then open the session link

Those titles are drafts until you edit them

DocsHub’s Trading pack seeds those article titles. Most of them ship as drafts. Put your real links, your real timezone, and your real “we do not give personal trade advice” line in the body, then publish. Do not wait for a perfect syllabus. Foundations Syllabus Overview, Homework & Practice Labs, and Advanced Playbooks can wait until after the first week.

What the inbox is for on day one

Unlock failures before the open belong in the inbox. “What time is the room?” does not, if hours are published. Save the start-path wording as a quick reply. After hours, point at the welcome or hours article. DocsHub is the help center and inbox for that path. It is not the live room.
