Put risk rules and session hours in one help center

September 3, 2026

Publish when you are live and what you do not provide — so members stop treating chat like a signals hotline or a world clock.

Trading rooms get two questions that never die: when is the session, and is this advice. If those answers live in a Discord pin or a mentor’s memory, new members will treat chat like a clock and a hotline. Put both in the help center. Keep them short.

Session hours are your hours, not a market widget

Members will ask about London, New York, and Asia. That is normal. What they need from you is not a live forex clock. They need when you are in the room, what timezone you use, what happens on holidays, and where replays land. DocsHub does not ship a world clock. The Trading pack includes a draft called Market Hours & Session Calendar. Fill that page with your calendar. Leave the DST tables to the brokers.

  • Timezone you run in
  • When educators are live
  • Holiday exceptions
  • How and when recordings publish

Risk rules belong next to the hours

The same help center should say what you do not provide: personalized investment advice, guaranteed returns, or a broker relationship. DocsHub starters for this are Risk Management Basics and Compliance & Disclosures — drafts for position sizing, daily loss limits, when to pause, and an education-only line. Write your rules. DocsHub is not a trade journal and does not give trade advice.

Point after-hours traffic at these two pages

If someone messages at 2 a.m. asking whether the room is open, an automation that links Market Hours & Session Calendar (or your access article) is enough. A pending follow-up the next morning covers anything that is not an unlock failure. That is the inbox loop DocsHub is for — not a signals desk.
