Discord pins vs a knowledge base for trading servers

Session links, broker notes, and recaps die in pins. Trading servers need one Start-here pin and a searchable help center.
Trading servers pin the session link, last week’s recap, the broker note, and the risk line. By the next month the pin list is a junk drawer. New members never see the old pin. Search finds a joke from March. The room still asks “what time do we start.”
What a trading pin can do
Pin tonight’s room link. Pin a temporary outage. Pin “read the rules before you speak.” That is a pointer. If the same broker setup or session-hours note has been pinned for three months, it is an article that never got a home.
What belongs in the knowledge base
- When you are live, and where replays go
- Which platform you support
- Risk and education-only wording
- How access unlocks after checkout
- Recaps you want people to find next month
One pin, then the help-center link
Keep Discord for the live room. Pin one message: Start here, plus the help-center URL. When someone asks a solved question, send the article.
